Lego Lunch is a Fast Food/Restaurant built by using recycled shipping containers (20 ft container, the most current), in Siauliai, Lithuania. Conceive as modular and replicable structure, each module is independent and can be easily reproduced.
Food is an energy resource for organisms. To procure well-being it must be safe and healthy for tasting and for consumption. With creative, sustainable and less expensive approach, the project is built by using recycled shipping containers (20 ft container, the must current). Conceive as modular and replicable structure, each module is independent and can be easily reproduced. Containers are the load-bearing structure with a light touch of the design. Recycled shipping containers can easier support the project.
Each module contains specific function allowing its flexibility, replication and maintenance if need. The restaurant is extensible in height, but before the roof is hosting soft greenery. To be more attractive, the design is perfectly integrated in the surrounding landscape. The project has been developed along the south side to benefit of natural elements as the heat of the sun or smooth of wind.
Because of the location of the cold region, with a low inclination of the sun in the sky, LED Lighting system and insulation are provided (no need of Heating floor).
